Big Picture is an innovative learning design putting students at the centre of their own learning. This alternative approach to learning is well established in the US and, embraced by Doncaster Council chose Doncaster to launch their first UK centre.

We were delighted to successfully tender for the project and develop this incredible centre which will make a huge impact to many young adults in the area.

We worked with The Big Picture project to design a building as unique and innovative as their project, an excellent environment for the student attending offering all the space and requirements to ensure thy progress to a successful future.

Bespoke Specification:

  • The design & Manufacture of a single storey 19m x 35m building
  • 4 dedicated advisory spaces with folding partitions to offer versatility of use
  • An open plan exhibition space to display student work
  • A staff room with kitchenette and facilities
  • Open plan reception area with facilities
  • A fabulous external finish design in Rockpanel
