Project Manager – Welding and Fabrication Team Leader

Full Time Permanent – 40 hpw

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are looking to appoint a Welding and Fabrication Team Leader to undertake a key role within our thriving Modular Building Production Department. In this important hands on role, you’ll lead from the front dividing your time between welding and provision of support, direction, motivation and challenge to a team of welder / fabricators, ensuring the production of high standard modular buildings.

We seek a highly motivated, organised individual who thrives when working in a fast paced environment towards challenging deadlines. Experience in a similar leadership role is desirable although not essential as the key qualities are equally important, and previous experience in the modular industry will be an advantage, although full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities and expectations include:

  • Responsibility for your specific team and those who work within it, and accountability for production issues within your line.
  • Support managers in decision making, work with other Team Leaders to encourage a set of Integra working standards for quality and process.
  • To oversee, develop, manage, and supervise the daily performance of individuals within your team and provide support when required and lead through effective coaching and support to develop a motivated and happy team..
  • To drive production in terms of quality and against programme objectives, and support the delivery of successful projects on time and within budget.
  • To ensure that all members of your team (including yourself) remain supportive of the requirements of the company, drive your team towards target achievement and keep a positive working culture within your team, and with other teams in the department.
  • To drive improvements in line with Company requests / requirements, and seek methods to reduce production times, costs, more effective use of staff, reduce wastage and ensure we follow our strict Health and Safety regulations and embrace our Company values.
